TIC (September, 2016) – A story about Joe DiMaggio. Joe DiMaggio would run out every ground ball as hard as he could. When asked why he played so hard, DiMaggio replied: “Because there is always some kid who may be seeing me for the first time. I owe him my best.” Are we treating everyone who comes to FCS as if it’s their first time here? Do we greet them and find out how they are doing? Do we find out if there is anything new they need from us? Do we make sure that we are “playing our best” and not just going through the motions? What can we be doing to give our best to each and every student, family member who walks through our doors?
