Our family recently relocated to Findlay from Anchorage, Alaska. Our son, Jake, is in the 8th grade, and our son, Ty, is in the 5th grade. We were looking for schools that were nurturing, student focused, and that provided a well-rounded education for our boys. We were so impressed with the Findlay City School District. During our school tours, teachers, students and staff members greeted us with a warm welcome. The buildings are all so lovely and well-taken care of. The hallways are filled with student artwork and positive messages. The schools have so much to offer and provide various opportunities to meet the needs of each individual student. Our boys started school last month and have had such a positive experience. Staff members and teachers have gone out of their way to make sure that the boys’ transition has gone smoothly. Assigning student buddies, providing extra time and support to adjust to the new curriculum and helping Brian and I out along the way are just a few examples! We are so thankful to be part of such a wonderful academic community.
