We often think of abuse, neglect, and natural disasters as forms of trauma; however, trauma comes in various forms. Suddenly our personal and professional lives are unexpectedly uprooted and our normal routines are gone. The disruptions may result in feeling unsettled, out of sorts, and may even produce anxiety and panic. While it is always important to remain calm, especially in stressful situations, it can be hard to cope with daily and new life stressors.
