The ninth FCS Cares, Trauma-Informed Care inspired SHOUT-OUT, goes to Andrea Kokensparger!
Mrs. Kokensparger found out that a student was in need of a new mattress. The student’s mom is currently fighting cancer and didn’t have extra funds to buy one. Over Thanksgiving, Andrea purchased a new mattress and delivered it to the house for the student.
This is one of many examples of what it means to be compassionate, giving, and trauma-informed. As a district, we need to recognize and celebrate the generosity of our employees. Thank you Andrea for going that extra mile to help a student and family.
