HANCOCK COUNTY RESILIENCY NETWORK
Memory Issues – Fractured Productivity – Short Fuses – Sudden Drops Into Despair
In the age of COVID, there are responses that are common, and those who work to aid others in recovery are not immune.
A light at the end of the COVID tunnel is beginning to shine. Yet at the same time many people, professional caregivers – social workers, counselors, therapists, peer providers and others in behavioral health fields – may be more exhausted and overwhelmed than at any time in the past year.
A self-care program being offered through the Family Resource Center of Northwest Ohio and the Hancock County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services, will provide a boost to those on the front lines.
During 1-hour sessions offered every third or fourth Tuesday in April, May and June, participants will explore the ways the pandemic has disrupted mind-body connections, share experiences and sample a wide variety of strategies to increase resiliency.
