The 17th Trauma-Informed Care inspired SHOUT-OUT goes to Julie Lammers and Brittany Baightel at Northview Primary!
November’s shout-out celebrates a collaborative effort to provide trauma-informed support for a Northview student’s family after a house fire. Brittany and Julie were instrumental in making sure that the student’s immediate needs were taken care of. They bought the children in the family pajamas, underwear and socks, and other essentials to hold them over until the situation could be assessed. They also arranged to have meals brought in for the family.
In November, we celebrate Thanksgiving. The district’s TIC Committee is thankful for the generosity and compassion demonstrated by the staff of Findlay City Schools.
