ICE EXPLORERS CLASS
Thursday, May 11th, 18th, 25th & June 1st, 8th (5:30-6:00 PM) ~ Cost = $55
This 5-week class will focus on the skating fundamentals of Learn to Skate USA for skaters ages 3-5. This class improves balance and coordination by focusing on fun while introducing basic movements such as pushing
and gliding. Confidence will be built through instruction and games.
SKATING SKILLS CLASS
Thursday, May 11th, 18th, 25th & June 1st, 8th (5:30-6:00 PM) ~ Cost = $55
This 5-week class will focus on the skating fundamentals of Learn to Skate USA for skaters ages 5 to 99 from
beginner through advanced skill levels. This class is designed to promote physical fitness, improve balance
and coordination while learning proper skating techniques for the beginning levels through the skater working
on Pre-Free Skate.
MOVES IN THE FIELD CLASS
Thursday, May 11th, 18th, 25th & June 1st, 8th (6:05-6:35 PM) ~ Cost = $55
US Figure Skating Moves in the Field is a technical discipline designed to improve skaters abilities in areas
such as stroking, turns and edge work. The skater will learn the required patterns while developing control,
power, edges, flow, rhythm and extension for skaters participating in synchronized skating and/or pursuing
the US Figure Skating track. This 5-week class is designed for the skater working on Pre-Free Skate and
above; Pre-Preliminary through Intermediate moves. A US Test Session tentatively set for Sunday, June 11th.
JUMP AND SPIN CLASS
Thursday, May 11th, 18th, 25th & June 1st, 8th (6:40-7:30 PM) ~ Cost = $75
This 5-week specialized class is designed for skaters working on Freestyle 1 through double jumps. Jump
focuses on learning important foundational jump concepts, jump height, landing positions and creating muscle
memory for correct and consistent jumps. Spins focuses on traditional spins, artistic spins and creative spins.
Skaters have the opportunity to work on combinations entrances and exits as well as uncaptured jumps and
spins.
Receive a $5 discount if registration is received by April 30th.
Receive an additional $20 discount per skater when registering for either:
• Moves in the Field + Jump and Spin Classes
• Moves in the Field + Skating Skills Class at Pre-Free Skate Level
