About the FHS Alumni Association

The The Findlay High School Alumni Association got into “full swing” in mid-1998. Since that time, the association has implemented many programs and events.
These include:

  • Implemented a campaign to have 350 new chairs donated for the R.L. Heminger Auditorium.
  • Continue to sell engraved brick pavers for our courtyard; 325 are already installed, just south of the cafeteria.
  • A FHS Historical Library including items dating back to the 1880’s.
  • Give assistance to all class reunions each year, providing them with updated addresses, help with mailings, provide the chairperson with a “Reunion Planner” booklet, etc.
  • In 1998, started a FHS Alumni Scholarship Fund. It is now a $2,500 scholarship.
  • Honor a Distinguished Alumni each year.
  • Annual “Musical Showcase”, bringing back alumni to perform with proceeds going for special alumni projects.
  • Sponsor FHS War Veteran’s Annual Recognition Dinner.
  • Assist teachers locating alumni for sports and academics Wall of Fame.
